St. Andrews is an enclave within the affluent neighbourhood of York Mills, around Yonge Street and York Mills Road. It is generally inhabited by families with high income. This is evident by the highly distinguishable real estate in the area of single-family detached houses that have been rebuilt and customized. The area is also noticeably in touch with nature as the presence of greenery is a protected and distinct feature of St. Andrews.

This neighbourhood is bounded by York Mills Road on the South, along the St. Andrews Park on the East, the Macdonald Cartier Freeway along the North, and Old Yonge Street along the West.

Recreation: There are many shopping options to choose from in the vicinity of this neighbourhood, including the York Mill Plaza, Bayview Village Shopping Centre, York Mills Centre, and the St. Andrew’s Square. For leisure outings, residents may choose to visit the multi-faceted York Mills Park or the oldest and most prestigious municipal course, Don Valley Golf Course.

Bus routes running along or through this neighbourhood include several along York Mills Road, stops at York Mills Station, and many streets at St. Andrews such as Upper Canada Drive and Lord Seaton Road.
